Feeling guilty about doing nothing....

Started my Maternity for baby no 2 this week. My little boy is at school during the day. Thought I'd be up for pottering and sorting the house (my husbands working away). I've struggled abit with my back and pelvis so have to be careful about how much I do... however I've found myself doing absolutely zero as I'm just not motivated. Not enjoying the down time either as I want to do these things but just seem to have a mental block! Any tips for motivation or should I just let go of the guilt?

Don't feel guilty at all, just do things if you really feel like doing it. I'm the same as you, if I'm not doing something then I feel bad and lazy but then end up overdoing it and exhausting my self. Don't forget, it's hard work growing a human!

I know exactly how you feel - I have a list of jobs as long as my arm to sort around the house, but instead have been using my free time to put my feet up and drink tea/eat cake! I really need to get stuff sorted before the baby arrives but feel so lethargic.

same! although im not on maternity leave yet, ive started on reduced working hours which sees me work mornings. I come home and sleep on the sofa on the internet even though I have so much to do.
