Morning All,

So I've noticed my baby isn't kicking as much but have a Doppler thing at home and heartbeat is strong, I'm 28 weeks - did anybody else notice less movement at this point? I've got a midwife appt on Thursday but should I head to my local hospital in case or am I being a paranoid?!

Go in. Always go in. I was in and out for reduced movement and they told me after 24 weeks to always phone up

Have you done the drinking something cold/eating something/ lying on your left side?

A Doppler is incredibly dangerous because you are not medically trained, so you could be listening to the placenta blood flow, your own heartbeat etc.

Always always go in for reduced or changes movement.

Ok yes I thought so, I have been laying on left side and drinking fridge cold water since 5am and no movement as such but a solid heartbeat. Maybe a small flutter but I'm not sure if I'm just imagining the flutter because I want to feel a kick

Ok I'm going to head in now - just to be on the safe side and put my mind at rest.

Bin your Doppler & go in to be checked.

Always better to be safe than sorry, hope all is okay x
