I have just found out I am 2-4 weeks pregnant and I've been heavily drinking. I have obviously stopped now I just wondered if any other women have gone through with a pregnancy in similar circumstances.

Will this affect my unborn baby?

Thanks in advance x

Help would be greatly appreciated!

I got absolutely trashed one night then realised a week later that I was pregnant. And I mean super trashed. I was very worried but my midwife said it happens a lot. I obviously felt v guilty and worried if done some damage but I hadn’t. Mine is obviously just one example, just my experience but I know how you feel, and I’m sure your midwife would say the same to you as mine did.

Don't worry! Drink until the pink. I found out I was pregnant a few days after a gin heavy birthday and my friend found out when she got home from her honeymoon!
Our babies are healthy and happy

Three weeks basically means the egg has been released.

It's fine....

The baby is still getting its food from the yolk sack until 6 weeks, so what you consume won't affect it. Congratulations!

I didn't know I was pregnant with my first until 6 weeks. I'd been on the lash for four of the previous weekends. She's fine. I just stopped drinking once I knew. No need to panic.
