Hi there,
Just a bit of advice really. I found out I was pregnant on the 28th. When I found out I got quite a strong positive. I’ve been having pains since well before I found out. I went to the hospital and was told I had a UTI in which I was given antibiotics. Called 111 a few days later as pains were getting worse and was referred to early pregnancy unit where they done an internal scan and confirmed there was a gestational sac. I am booked in tomorrow in the hopes that we will be seeing a yolk sac as well this time. However I’m obsessed with taking pregnancy tests. Since I found out I have taken 2 more of the same brand, both of which have come out lighter (today’s one was barely there but I did take it at 8:30pm where as others were afternoon) could this affect it? And also should I be worried that I’m going to lose the baby? Sorry if it sounds silly. First time pregnancy and I’m a bit all over the place!

@Jlaurenx I didn't want to read and run but wanted to wish you all the best for tomorrow. It can be a really worrying time when you're so early on in your pregnancy. From my own experience, it really is best to put those tests down I did numerous tests and it became a habit - in all honesty I stopped at 6 weeks! but only after we had our reassurance scan. Your hormone levels will be a bit all over the place as your body adjusts to being pregnant and whilst I'm certainly no expert, from my own experience in the beginning I had symptoms then no symptoms, faint and then strong bfps. Evening pee is less concentrated so maybe why your afternoon ones are stronger. When a heartbeat is seen, I was told by my sonographer it can reduce chances of miscarriage although again, this early on it may not be detectable yet. I'm hoping you get all your answers tomorrow & keeping my fingers crossed fingers crossed for you x
