Has anyone had/ got a Doulas?

Hi all! I'm planning my first pregnancy and having looked through this webpage, there is LOADS I havent thought of - I have heard about a 'doula' - does anyone have any recommendations?

i know a lady who is a doula who is on another site. she seems fab. so is pupuce.
