North Middlesex Hospital Maternity Stories

Has anyone had any experience with the North Middlesex Maternity Unit?
I know they spent a fortune on the new centre in 2014, but were hit by scandals in 2017... I can't find any recent reviews about them.
I'm choosing between them and the Whittington, very confused.

I had my second daughter there and couldn’t fault it (2014) but had other issues with both them and the Whittington for causing my grandfathers death.

I have friends who gave birth in North Middlesex, they said facilities were fab, the care was alright, nothing bad nothing outstanding either. One was a nurse over there so they were really nice because they knew her, so got a bit of extra TLC.
I gave birth in Whittington, facilities are not the best but the care I and everyone else I knew was fenomenal and overal this is what is the most important thing for me. We experienced all the wards (antenatal, labout, post natal, neonatal intensive care unit too unfortunately) and can't fault anything really.
