Uti/kidney infection

I'm 24 weeks pregnant & since November I've had 3 utis, I know I have another infection but I'm not sure if it's spread to my kidneys as the pain in my back/flank is throbbing and my lower stomach is so sore too. Gp and midwife triage have been a lost cause as both keep fobbing me off. I'm at a loss on what to do

Have you tried the pharmacist? Sometimes I go there and they recommend being seen by the doctor abs it tends to give them a kick up the bum. But also try out of hours doctor?

I've been to the out of hours gp before and besides antibiotics there isn't much they can do as my gp needs to send a sample off but it's been virtually impossible to get an appointment

How long a course of antibiotics have you been given? I had something similar albeit I wasn't pregnant at the time. It went on for around 2 years with 3 day courses of meds from my gp who didn't take me seriously. It may be the same infection, just that it isn't being killed off.

Do you have medical insurance through work? If so ask for a referral to a urologist you'll be treated properly. My consultant honestly changed my life.

If you don't have insurance you're going to have to go back and keep hassling the gp. hope you get better soon.
