Hi everyone!

I want to try and batch cook loads of meals prior to giving birth so that when the baby arrives we have plenty of food we can whack out the freezer, defrost and cook for ease and to spend more time with our new addition.

I'm struggling to think of ideas though! Our baby is due in July so summery meal ideas would be fab. So far I have

Curry
Bolognese / chilli
Beef stir fry
Hoisin pork stir fry
Fajita mix
Garlic chicken

Any other ideas would be appreciated :)

Following! I'm currently on mat leave and only managed a bolognese 😂 need to get a move on but can't think of any ideas!

We made a nice chicken / chorizo / butter bean / tomato stew with peppers and lots of paprika - good with rice or bread

Lasagne, chicken and ham pie, look up dump meals for slowcookers too, they can often be frozen.

Oohhh yess these sound lush. Especially chicken and ham pie 😛
@shutupsteph have you had your little one yet? If not and you're bored, at least you'll have something to do now haha!

My tip would be to make sure they can be eaten one handed! That way you can eat it while it’s hot!

Cassoulet.
A variety of soups for when you ought to eat something but are feeling icky. Also good if you are trying to take in lots of fluids.

Soups are good. Can be drunk from a mug one handed and are nutricious
