When did your bump show?

I'm pregnant with my first - I'm 11 weeks today and can't tell if I have a teeeny bump or it's all of the Christmas food catching up on me 😂.

When did you begin to "show" or "pop"? I've heard that it can sometimes take longer if it's your first baby!

Congrats OP! No advice to offer as I’m only 8 weeks with my first child but it really does depend on the person. My sister started showing at 3 months and her bump was quite noticeable.

With the first I was being offered seats on public transport by week 14 so there was definitely something there at w11.
But even if it’s Christmas bloat, just call it a bump. It will be soon enough!

With my first I was about 20 weeks before a stranger would notice and that was if I was wearing v fitting clothes.

Subsequent pregnancies I was about 16 weeks and 8 weeks respectively before I looked huge!

Yes definitely later with first baby - around 4 months for me. 6 weeks with my second

I’m 16 weeks with my first and you can definitely tell if I’m not wearing a baggy jumper...strangers might think id just eaten too much chocolate over Christmas though. (Probably did)

Im pregnant with my 1st and remember really wanting to have a bump. I think it started showing when I was about 18 weeks.

Im 29 weeks now and ive become huge in the past 2 weeks.

Remember that even though the lo is small your body is holding all that water and swollen from growing.
There probably was a better way of saying that lol.
I was about 16 weeks.

About 16 weeks small bump with first, similar size at 13/14 weeks with second. 38 weeks and scarily big bump at the moment!

I think at about 25/26 weeks...

To people who knew me before pregnancy- 13 weeks. There was a subtle bump.

Full blown bump that would indicate to strangers that I was pregnant- 16 weeks or so I think.

My friend is well over 20 weeks pregnant with her second and I still don't think her bump is that obvious just yet. Everyone is different

Maternity pants came on at 8 weeks 😩

I've been in maternity jeans since before 12 weeks, but I think it's only become really obvious to everyone else in the last couple of weeks (so around 22 weeks pregnant), which I think is quite late!

27 weeks here and it’s finally noticeable!

I went to get measured for nursing bras and they tried to send me away, telling me I needed to come back later in the pregnancy when my shape had changed. I was three days past my due date at that point, only wearing my bra and a pair of leggings and I still couldn’t convince a stranger.

So basically who knows.

I could tell from about 14-16 weeks but it could have easily been mistaken for a little bit of bloat/pms.

18-22 Small bump right in the centre 😂looked like I’d swallowed a potato whole but it didn’t reach my hips - quite funny actually.

22-25 - ‘rounded’ bump running hip to hip still pretty neat though. Obvious in fitted clothes but hidden by a comfy jumper.

25+ - BOOM!

I was in Maternity Jeans from 8 weeks!!! And am not large generally, a 12-14. But belly just popped out straight away, could not do up my jeans!

I'm 16+2 with my first and I'd say I started to notice a bump at about 12 weeks but I wouldn't say it became noticeable to other people until recently 😊 it seems to have really popped out within the last few days.

I’m 12 weeks with my 5th. I’m looking odd! My clothes are getting tighter and I think there’s a tiny bump but my belly above my belly button is also sticking out.

I’ve been bloated since about week 8 so have looked like I have a small bump since then but first thing in a morning my stomach is almost flat still. I’m currently 16+3. There is w definite curve though and my stomach goes out rather than being flat, but not much of a ‘bump’ so far!
