I’m 18+3 with my second baby. For the last couple of days I’ve had really really watery discharge that I’ve even questioned if it’s my waters dribbling a bit. It will happen at random times throughout the day and most noticeable if I’m not wearing knickers (so if I’m just wearing pj bottoms etc) and it will run on the insides of my thighs (sorry tmi).
Then last night I kept waking up with sharp pain on the left side of my groin, got up for a wee because sometimes I have pain if my bladder is too full during the night but the pain didn’t go and I kept waking up. Since then I’ve had the pain every now and again but I can feel pressure in my lower abdomen. I will of course call the labour ward tomorrow if it’s still like it but I. Just wanted to know if anyone else had similar? I don’t want to turn up there and it just be growing pain and discharge and my hospital is a 30 min drive from me and I also have a 2 year old to take with me.

I would ring maternity triage for their opinion

I think you need to phone the hospital now, and not wait til the morning

@Mumofsmalls Please ring maternity and get their advice.

Hi everyone I actually feel a lot better now I’ve had a bath and settled in, my toddler is in bed now so I can relax and I don’t have any pain or pressure anymore. I got a bit of the water on my fingers and pulled them apart and it had a tiny bit of stick so I’m assuming it’s just watery discharge. Thank you ☺️
