Terrified for 12 weeks scan

Anyone else terrified for their 12 week scan?

I don’t even know why - this is my third pregnancy so it’s not like I’m a novice to it! And it’s not until Feb!

Hahaha what is it that terrifies you? I’ve just had a 9+5 reassurance scan and so a lovely wriggly baby but that will only keep me happy for a few days! This is my first so learning as I go!

I think I’m just nervous about everything being okay. And I’m reading far too much about things that can go wrong this time around whereas I didn’t do that with my two DDs.

I completely feel your pain! I have mine on Thursday and it feels like time is really dragging. I will be 13 weeks by then too! Had an early scan at nearly 8 weeks and all looks good so hoping for the best. Extra nervous as had a mc in September.

So nothing I can really say to make you feel better other than you’re not alone! Also the internet is not our friend at this time! I just keep telling myself that the odds are massively in my favour, but it’s still hard!

I'm with you there, I'm 5-6 weeks and it seems like such a long time until scam and first midwife appointment. I've got one ds and everything was fine but this time around I'm more nervous and worried about things

Another one here 🙋🏻‍♀️ also extremely nervous and anxious about 12 week scan. Mine is 15th Jan.
I've had a private scan at exactly 8w and all appeared good. I've still be feeling sicky as well but still really scared.

My first pregnancy I had a private scan at 10w because I knew something wasn't right and baby had stopped at 8+5. So just really scared it'll happen again.

Meee! It's 3 weeks tomorrow and I'm already soooo nervous!
Think it's cause I've hardly had any symptoms I feel anxious about it
