Had my scan yesterday & they’ve put my due date at 30th July! Originally she said 31st, then looked at some different images & decided 30th instead. So I might end up being an early August instead :)

@BabyB19 Awww, did you hear the heartbeat?

BabyB19 · 22/01/2020 17:23

We didn't hear it @xene15 as too early but was nice enough just to see it there beating away in the screen 🥰❤️

funkyelephant90 · 22/01/2020 17:25

Awww ok @Zm2019 still close though :)

Hopefully my letter is at home waiting for me tonight then, if not, tomorrow! Where are you all based? I'm in Cheshire.

Cute scan pics @BabyB19 and @xene15

@xene15 I've had a few and DH woke me up because I was shouting in one "Get it off Facebook, I don't want it posted on Facebook" haha!

BabyB19 · 22/01/2020 17:25

@xene15 @WeeScottishWife so sorry just scrolled I didn't see your messages! Glad you're both doing well ☺️ my EDD is 25/08 so a bit behind you too. I've had a few odd dreams but they seems to have subsided, I did however throw up in my own hand while driving to work this morning 🤢🤦🏽‍♀️🤣

BabyB19 · 22/01/2020 17:27

Thank you @funkyelephant90 I'm Merseyside so not miles apart and mine was really quick 🥰

funkyelephant90 · 22/01/2020 17:32

@BabyB19 That sick story though 🤣🤢 sounds like me! Everytime I'm in the car it's a struggle to hold it in, you poor thing, What did you do with it out of interest? 🤣🤣 I'll let you know when I get home if it arrived 🤞

BabyB19 · 22/01/2020 17:40

It's awful isn't it! @funkyelephant90 but after MMC I'm grateful for any symptoms letting me know its ok! Lucking I had a packet of tissues in my handbag 🤣 it wasn't ideal but it did until I got to work haha. Apparently you can buy proper sick bags on amazon so I'm going to order some for emergencies 🤢

Mammyofasuperbaby · 22/01/2020 17:42

Hi can I join. I'm due 9th August with baby number 4. Dc1 was premature and then we lost one at 7 weeks and another at 10 weeks last year so hoping this one is happy and healthy.
I have my 12 week scan on Monday so fingers crossed

funkyelephant90 · 22/01/2020 19:26

Hey and Welcome @Mammyofasuperbaby good luck for Monday 😊

@BabyB19 I think that too everytime I have the burps? Anyone else? Literally constant burping 😂😂👌🏼 No letter for me today but it was Monday afternoon so fingers crossed for tomorrow

Hello August ladies, how are you all doing? I’ve been avoiding MN for weeks as I was so anxious prior to my 12 weeks scan (previous missed miscarriage). I expect a lot of you will also have had your scans by now?

Here’s our Spud. Scan took ages as s/he wouldn’t stop dancing around. Due date brought forwards to the 4th of August. Smile

We had fun telling everyone this weekend, although no one seems surprised. Everyone guessed when I wasn’t drinking at Xmas. So much heartburn though, think this is going to be one hairy baby.

Wow @CrazyCoonz your scan picture is really clear, that looks amazing.

Mammyofasuperbaby · 27/01/2020 18:38

We've had our 12 week scan and I'm elated to say that we have a living baby.
My due date has been moved back to 15th August .
I'm so happy right now, I feel like I can now bond with my baby

We've nicknamed the baby 'Tigger' for now, because it was jumping around at the scan!

It all feels... kind of more real now? (Not that it didn't before.) But having seen the baby looking actually like a baby-shaped-baby was interesting - husband said that he hadn't realised, but he'd been having a bit of mental disconnection between knowing there was a baby in there, and actually seeing it as human looking. For example, seeing the app I've got that says 'this is the size of your baby's footprint' and making the leap to 'that means the baby has legs'.

It was really good to see it wiggling around, and reassuring too, and now we've got a nickname for it we're talking to it more as well :)

xene15 · 27/01/2020 20:06

Glad everyone's doing well! I had my 12 week scan today aswell!! I'm actually 13 weeks now and due on the 1st now!x
