Hey! I’m sorry you’re going through this. I was the same with Ds1. There’s other medications you can try, but I’d call the hospital again so they can rehydrate you.
Also look up hyperemesis support groups! They can help you with advice about treatment.
How far along are you? X

I was thinking that's what I'd have to do I'm only 6 weeks! I'm so worried that this is going to get worse and worse too 😞 I feel so exhausted and drained from it x

I know it’s really difficult.
Your baby is doing fab though it’s jusy taking everything from you. If you need to keep going in to get rehydrated that’s just what you’ll need to do...! Another medication might help better?
I ended up having DS1 early due to how unwell I was (planned section at 35 weeks) so keep in touch with docs. If that’s how ur feeling at the moment though get bk to the hospital before you collapse.
PM me if you like xx

@Esxxx please join us on the hyperemesis support page. I've had HG since 5 weeks and been in and out hospital countless times as well as home visits. Ended up on 4 medications and steroids and injections to stop the vomiting. I'm still on medication now at nearly 28 weeks and its been hard but please keep going back for fluids and ask for ondansatron and metoclopromide as that has helped me. @Bol87 and @LucindaE I'm sure can advise more on this as well as they have been a massive help to me over the past 7 months.

Thankyou both so much! It's hard trying to stay positive isn't it when it just drains you completely I feel like the hospital are going to be sick of the sight of me but I wil make sure I go when I need to just to stay hydrated the only suggestions I'm getting are to eat ginger biccys and I'm like really I can't keep water down never mind food 🙄 I'm so happy I'm not alone!! Xx

@Esxxx I was going in 4 times a week and then a and e on weekends which is why they put me on steroids from weeks 12-20 and home visits just to keep me out of hospital. Keep going back if you need to and dont feel bad. I was going in and out of hospital from week 7 to week 20 just to stay alive cause without steroids and iv medication I couldn't keep water down.
