Will this awful sickness ever end?

Currently 13+3. Nausea started from week 7, lots of retching with no actual vomit, this lasted until week 10. From week 10 till now, I am actually vomiting with all day nausea. Doesn't matter if I eat small meals throughout the day outcome is still the same. I've been on two types of antisickness meds that have helped for a few days then stopped. This is my second pregnancy and the nausea was gone by now with my first, by this point I just had random vomiting. Sad Just so fed up, wishing my life away, due in July and it honestly can't come quick enough! Anyone else the same?

Sorry but maybe not! I'm 36 weeks with my second and both times I've been sick from 4 - 40 weeks.
If you're physically sick then get medication, I always tried to avoid taking anything until my husband found me unconscious in the bathroom at 17 weeks. Medication won't harm your baby but dehydration could. Be cautious and good luck

Oh I see you've had medication! Jeep trying different types and hope for the best 🤞🏻

It's horrid isn't it? I'm going to go back to the doctors on Monday Confused surely there must be something else I can try

I have been exactly the same, I'm now 16 weeks.
Unfortunately I was back and forth to the doctors with no medication working and feeling miserable. Ended up in hospital for a week dehydrated and feeling pretty miserable. Since discharge they gave me a mixture of several meds which is helping to manage it better- nausea hasn't completely subsided but it manageable.

Go back to your midwife and see if they can advise how best to go forward.

I know how crap it is. There were points where I felt so low, here if you need a chat or to offload

Sorry to say but I've had morning sickness since week 5 and now 22 weeks..... Its so draining and the amount of people that say 'it will get better soon' drives me mad as for me it's never ending.

I was given antisickness tablets, they worked for a few days but its gone back to normal now. I find eating meat makes me violently sick for some reason. Can only manage small amounts of food. I'm losing weight.

I'm sick as soon as I get up and I didn't know the body could produce bright sick colours like I have.... Reminds me of highlighters.

The midwifes don't give much advice and just say you have to grin and bear it and see GP.... You see the GP and they say - your best going to the hospital, just seem to be stuck in a circle going nowhere..

Basically I've been told if I can't hold down water then I need to go on a iv drip. The sickness is making me very tired and not looking forward to returning to work as I feel so awful

I had morning sickness until the end of my labour. I hope that you are luckier.

Sorry to tell you that I stopped throwing up when Dd was a few days old
Think that’s unusual though and I wasn’t half as sick with DS

I do feel for you and sorry that you are feeling this way. Im sure your gp will find the right medication! I'm due in July as well. My nausea kicked off at 8 weeks (2 weeks ago) and keep getting worse everyday. I don't vomit but have diarrhea +5 times a day. Nausea is all day and night and sometimes I would rather vomit to make myself feel slightly better. Tonight I want to cry because it's been relentless and exhausting. I'm stuck in bed for most of the day and every trip out is out of this world. I agree with people commenting that it will pass soon because I don't care, I want to feel better now! Sorry for the moan but happy that I found a thread with people I can relate too ! thank you for starting it :)
