Hi everyone, I’m 12 weeks 5 days and have my scan on Monday. Iv been spotting on and off since I was 10 weeks. My midwife said it’s normal and not to worry unless I had pain. Which I haven’t.
The spotting started again today but this time with a stitch like pain. I’m so worried I’m about to miscarry 😞

If you're in pain and bleeding I would call the EPU. Sorry you're going through this

Thank you. I’m not in any pain so just got my fingers crossed and holding on to hope as I had such awful backache the last few times

@Bob2207 I feel you pain! I’m around a week behind you and have been spotting on and off since about 10 weeks.
I dread going to the toilet because I worry that I’ll find more blood, and miscarry.
When I spoke to my GP they told me the same as you - they only worry when you have pain alongside it. So if you have pain it’s worth just giving the maternity unit a call for peace of mind!
I hope your scan goes ok tomorrow! Mines Thursday, after the last few weeks of worry it’s felt like I’ve been waiting a long time!

@Purringporcupine sorry I haven’t replied before but i wanted to wait til you had had your scan as mine wasn’t good news. I was told I’d had a missed miscarriage. Baby stopped growing at 10 weeks 2 days. I decided to wait to see if I would miscarry naturally which has just started ☹️

Thank you so much yes my boys and husband are being amazing. My boys just think I have a bad tummy ache. X
