What are the chances of it being ok?

I found out I was pregnant 3 weeks ago. After about a week I started brown spotting so was referred for bloods/ scan. HCG levels were high, cervix was closed and scan showed yolk sack but not much else due to being so early. Had horrendous sickness, sore boobs etc since. Next scan is booked for Monday.

Yesterday I woke up thinking I’d wet myself and was shocked to find lots of bright red blood. It was still there when I wiped but then no other blood since. (Other than dark, old stuff and only when I wipe, no pad needed).

I rang the hospital who just said I had to wait it out until Monday. I have stomach cramps and feel terrible. I just wondered if this had happened to anyone else and the outcome had been positive.

I had this weeks 5-9 of my first pregnancy (had also taken nearly 3 years to fall pregnant due to what I now know was severe endometriosis). It was a sub chronionic hematoma for me - sudden hush of blood then tapered off. Then the cycle would repeat. I rested as much as possible and went for scans. Baby was fine and she is now 8. Can you get a scan at an EPU? Very best of luck, I know how scary it is.

It happened to me at about five weeks I was at work with cramps sat on the loo and lost like half a pint of blood I started panicking and went to hospital had to wait two days for a scan but scan showed everything ok I at this point was sure it was no longer and spent the whole weekend crying and my husband :(

You just don't know - we are now 31 weeks with a little boy so be hopeful and good luck

I just don’t know what to think and dread going to the toilet. It’s just a waiting game I suppose.
