What where everyone’s first signs of labour?

Hi guys!

I’m 37 weeks and quite uncomfortable. Baby gave me a scare yesterday by not moving as much, but of course while getting ready for hospital she started up like mad! Since then I’ve had on and off bad pelvic cramping( I’ve had it since 33 weeks but defo worse tonight) like someone is stabbing it, increased back pain, constantly peeing and now upset stomach have been 5 times today!

I don’t feel like my bump has dropped and I’ve not had the show or anything. Is this going to continue for 3 more weeks?! They also said she’s measuring big on growth scans- around 8lbs at 36 weeks.

What where your early labour signs? Was it all pop fluid and action? Xxx

10 days overdue. Bump dropped very low. Had lots of loose stools. Woke up in the middle of the night with period type pain. Started having contractions and then had a show as contractions intensified

It's a while ago for me now, but I had no clue at all that I was about to go into labour until I woke up with an unmistakable contraction at 3am, five days before my due date. Things started ramping up slowly from then on. All three of my labours were like that, no popping of waters or anything dramatic until the head crowned.

Low back pain Like period pain. I was 7 days over.

Woken up at 5am with lower back pain (no other obvious signs prior to this), went to loo and waters went a little bit (not a big gush but could see the oily texture in loo), contractions started and baby born at 12 noon ish. First baby started with contractions.
