Hi I have severe pain in my leg that goes from the front of my thigh to the side, calf and foot this pain is constant 24/7 which has got worse over the last month and left me house bound screaming in pain whenever I move and on crutches. The DRs ruled out a DVT but they are at a loss as to what it is and have just prescribed me pain killers which hardly work and told me to get a referral to a neurologist. Has anyone had anything like this I'm so worried it will not go away after my lil girl is here :(

Hello, sounds like you're suffering from sciatica due to nerve trapment. It's good that you've ruled out clots as potential cause from A&E. The best thing during pregnancy would be regular paracetamol and gentle back exercises, along with a trip to physio who may be able to help relieve some of the pressure in the back. Get well soon - these pains are very stubborn and not often easy to get rid of!

Yeah sounds like sciatica, I had that and found that stretching helped way more than any painkillers

I thought it may be they though I have no back pain and no pain in my bum? Does this potentially go away after labour? I'm praying it does x
