Sorry just a bit of a moan. I'm 34 weeks today and over the last week have just become progressively more uncomfortable. I'm uncomfortable sitting at the table to eat, uncomfortable on the sofa, get rib pain if I stand too long and night time is a nightmare. I used a body pillow but that didn't help so I found that a feather pillow under my bump helped but now I seem to just ache regardless of what side I lie on - misery not helped by the relentless heartburn (I normally take ranitidine but that's stopped production and the alternative doesn't seem to work as well). What I would give for just one night of peaceful sleep!!

My other dc was born at 35 weeks, is there any chance this level of discomfort is in anyway indicative of another early one?

Unfortunately it's just all the joys of the third trimester... I've been the same since 32 weeks so uncomfortable. Painfull BH. Heartburn feeling sick can't sit down for long as my lower back starts to hurt then I struggle to walk.. Stand up for too long and I hurt everywhere. Baby has moved down so the shooting pains in cervix are bloody awfull. Sleeping on a night has Completly gone out the window waking up every 20/30 mins urghh. Bump constantly hurts along with ribs and hips and my knee now has also give in I'm waddling around like a duck🙈 also plug been coming away for a few days but that can also happen weeks before labour!.. I feel for you Completly I have 3 weeks left and it cannot come quick enough. No one can say for sure if you will have baby anytime soon as every pregnancy is different but you never know.
