Hi,
I'm 40 plus 3 and have been told today I will be induced this weekend due to concerns about baby's growth. My DS was born by EMCS. I was just wondering if anyone else could share there experience of being induced after a previous caesarean

Thanks

I avoided it by getting my midwife to do 2 sweeps in the week leading up to my induction. Second one did the trick.

Induction after CS here! I had a long latent labour for DC2 and at 40+12 after weeks of on- off contractions and 2 unsuccessful sweeps, decided to go for the drip to speed things up. They did a scan of my scar before the drip was put in (23 months between DC’s) and the same when I had an epidural. I felt like they took it seriously - have your midwives/dr talked you through what kind of induction and what kind of monitoring you’ll have?

Thanks for the reply. @PottersParties your reply is interesting as until yesterday I had been told I wouldn't be able to have the drip due to previously having a caesarean. I've now been told I might be able to have some of a drip but also been mentioned having a balloon inserted/ inflated. I've decided to see what Sunday bring as the drs on the dayward may well have a different opinion to drs on the ward. I'm due to have another ctg Saturday so the plan might change again!
