Any1 had an early scan??

Had early scan today says am 4w3d
N only sac there. Was measuring at 1.83mm just wondering is this normal n right size for this stage? Any1 had anything like this? Had my bloods done n bloods again Saturday 🤞🤞

Sorry I don’t know about size. 4 weeks is way too early for a heart beat. Are you experiencing problems?

What happened that made you get the scan? It seems very early. Does it match your dates?

You are going to drive yourself crazy by having early scans before there is anything to see. Honestly- just wait for your 12 week dating scan.

I had mc 27th November n fell pregnant straight away again so gettin scans n bloods done xx

@holly1990 I'm going tomorrow for a private vaginal scan, im nearly 6 weeks. Iv had 8 miscarriages in total and have 2DS 16 and 18 years old

Did you get a negative pregnancy test in between?

I have had previous mc that's why a need to have early scans not by choice it is to check all is okay xx

@holly1990 thank you 🤞 Iv been TTC for 4 year now. My scan isn't until the 24th of this month but I'm so anxious I can wait that long! When did you find out about your pregnancy? I found out last week, I also dont know if I'm 6 or 10 weeks as iv had irregular periods since the summertime. My doctors actually thought I was going through menopause, I found out in Novermber that menopause wasnt happening and then found out I was pregnant in December.

@WeeDinah a found out Boxing Day really early after last mc. Aww Am sure all will be fine at ur scan keep me updated please. I fort I was only 2-3 cos dusnt add up to when we had sexual but she said must ovulated sooner confused by dates. Xx

@holly1990 my last proper period was October then I had a very light bleed which only lasted a few hours in November so my doctor and midwife seem to think the the light bleed in November was implantation bleeding! My lines are so dark on my tests and its showing up straight away so that is making me feel a little more positive! At least you seem to be further on than you originally thought, it just interested to see how far along I am tomorrow x

Sounds good! I had loads of early scans, couple more weeks for heart beat but the sac is hard to measure now. You will get a better idea at 12 weeks 👍🏽

@holly1990 I went today measured 5wks 5days and heart is beating strong let me know how you get on x

@WeeDinah aww that's fabulous news😀 am back tomorrow for more bloods get my results tomorrow afternoon on my hcg levels I had scan in Thursday am 4+3 then am bk next week for another scan cud only see a gestational sac when I went xx

@holly1990 I really didnt expect to see a heartbeat, she said everything was perfect and they were so pleased with how the heart was beating at 5+5! I go back 3 weeks today, I really wish you all the best of luck ...keep in touch and keep me up dated 🤞🙏

That sounds about right for how early you are: you normally can't see anything except the yolk sac before 5–6 weeks. We paid for a private early scan at 6 weeks and there was a little smudge (which they said was the foetus) and yolk sac; measured 4.9mm.

@WeeDinah hi had bloods done again today they have more than doubled so all good I have scan in 10days time shud be 6+2 by then so not long too wait xx

@holly1990 that's fantastic news, I'm so pleased for you 😄 sounds very positive, I'm still feeling a little anxious today! It's so hard not to, I think it's only natural until your past that 12 week stage. Every little cramp or twinge makes you panic xx

Hi! I had a scan at 6w or so I think, and saw a heartbeat. Its not unusual to not see one though! Try not to worry!

@WeeDinah Ano am very anxious av been checking toilet roll every time. Hard not to worry a guess xx

@holly1990 very hard not to! I'm the same, my symptoms are very strong so I guess that's positive also xx

A don't have many symptoms just cramps n back ache n odd pain in me boobs xxx

@holly1990 I had an early scan this pregnancy as I've had miscarriages in the past. My scan was at 5w and all they could see was the sac and they were very happy with that. 3 weeks later we saw the heartbeat. Some people are lucky and see it early but they told me that to see the sac looking good and in the right place that early on is good enough!
