I think I'm 6 weeks+ but possibly slightly further, I've been quite bloated for a couple of weeks but put that down to Christmas with being so early, however today it seems to be higher up around my belly button and really firm and protruding?! Anybody else has a bump start this early?

It was probably about 26ish weeks that I started to look less like I'd eaten a lot and more pregnant 😂. 33 now and he's taken on a definite rounded approach.
Bloat is definitely real in the early stages though! Everyone is different and it depends on your pregnancy and body too

SnoozyLou · 02/01/2020 20:22

15 weeks.

IamMaisie · 02/01/2020 20:22

Pregnancy number 2 here, felt like I was showing from weeks 7-12 but was really just very bloated and this eased off and it went down for a few weeks. Belly properly popped from week 16.

Baby is still only level with belly button at week 18 so hardness above that I think is organs that have shifted upwards plus food I've had that day. Over Xmas and new year I've been saying upper stomach is my cheese baby.

I think at 6 weeks, baby is still very low and too small to be pushing anything upwards. So it probably is just bloating at this stage. It can definitely feel like a baby belly though

BabyB19 · 02/01/2020 20:25

Thanks ladies @SparkleUK @SnoozyLou @IamMaisie it's so bizarre, I had a MMC earlier in the year and was later than this but didn't feel half as much. It's odd it definitely doesn't feel like bloat. Like I say I'm at least 6 weeks but could be a little more than that, have a scan on 16/01 so will soon find out I suppose! 🥰

I didn't look pregnant till around week 19. When I told people at 12 weeks they all seemed surprised, I was even getting comments that I was losing weight! Haha.

I'm overweight so think that may be a reason why I didn't show. I've got a nice small bump now, my trousers still fit but needed to buy a few bigger tops.

MrsSokhi · 04/01/2020 20:00

I googled it and it said if you suck your tummy in, whatever is protruding is your bump. Worked for me.
I'm 14 weeks and showing but looks like bloated tummy really unless you know I'm pregnant xx

BabyB19 · 04/01/2020 20:10

Thanks and congrats @ChickenNugget86 @MrsSokhi at the same time as I'm looking forward to having a bump I'm not excited about showing so early I'll end up the size of a house and it doesn't help with hiding it for 12 weeks 🤣 as long as everything is ok though I don't mind ☺️

With dd2 I didn't find out I was pregnant until i was 5mths. Was in size 12 jeans, they were feeling a bit tight😀.
I actually lost over a stone when pregnant. Only ever had a small bump. Dd2 was 6lb when born.

BabyB19 · 04/01/2020 20:31

It's making me question if there could be more than one in there 🤔🧐

First one not atleast until I was 30 odd weeks, I just looked bloated, tiny bump which I could hide then boom over night one huge bump.

This one is typically the same, bump seems lower? But 29 weeks now and have a what I'd call proper bump, lol I actually look pregnant. I hated not having anything there and just a bloated "cake belly".

BabyB19 · 04/01/2020 23:37

@MissPepper8 I feel like I've swallowed a ball and it's landed right in the centre of my belly 🤣 will have to see what happens at the scan 🤷🏽‍♀️ congratulations!

About 24/25 weeks ish. It’s a proper bump now at 27 weeks

MissPepper8 · 05/01/2020 12:31

@BabyB19 Ah bless you lol x I'm jealous honestly I just look like I over did it at Christmas up until last week 😂. Im quite short and baby seems to be low down and in my back alot of the time.

It's nice to show, I never felt more confident then when I was pregnant and had a proper bump :) x

starlightmagic · 05/01/2020 12:34

Nearly 27 weeks and finally starting to get a bump! First baby Smile

BeautyAndTheBump1 · 05/01/2020 17:33

I had alot of bloat from around 7/8 weeks, but still caressed my food baby as a real bump 😁 at around 13/14 weeks it started to look 50% food baby 50% real baby. Then from around 17 weeks I started to get upper fullness & it started to look like an actual bump and when I wake up in a morning it's still protruding and round.

BabyB19 · 05/01/2020 17:36

27 weeks! @starlightmagic you lucky thing! Not much to lose afterwards then for you!
That's so cute @BeautyAndTheBump1 I'm doing the same even though it's obviously just bloat atm 🤷🏽‍♀️🤣

I keep waiting to balloon! It’s getting to the stage now that even with a fairly loose hoodie on you can see something, feels like I’ve been waiting forever!

BabyB19 · 05/01/2020 17:42

So many people would be made up with that but after unsuccessful pregnancies it will be so comforting to be able to see a real bump 🥰 @starlightmagic

I had a mmc before this one, and it’s taken nearly 2 years with the mmc and conceiving this time so it’s very reassuring! Feeling her move is the best thing haha 😍

BabyB19 · 05/01/2020 18:18

Aww I'm so happy for you that you finally get your baby ❤️🥰 @starlightmagic I had a MMC too and it was the worst time of my life, so can't wait to get to your stage now ☺️ 7 weeks in though so still a way to go before I feel safe x

Have everything crossed for you! Flowers

Marshy86 · 05/01/2020 18:22

I had a very noticeable bump at 12 weeks, due to severe sickness this was first time I'd started leaving house and not wearing slobs, people could tell I was pregnant.

Wishing56 · 05/01/2020 18:40

My bump popped out at 17 weeks. I am having twins.

abbs1 · 05/01/2020 19:37

I'm nearly 28 weeks and hardly look pregnant. I really want a baby bump but I just look bloated really. I have a retroverted womb which is most likely why but I feel like it's hard to bond and for it to feel real when I dont really have a bump. I have to wear really tight fitting clothes to look pregnant otherwise no one can tell unless I tell them and when I say how far along I am they are shocked. I have a growth check this coming week and nervous but hes moving and kicking a lot which is reassuring.
