Hey all,

I’m a bit worried.

So I estimate I’m around 5 weeks pregnant. I have a dull pain around my pelvis that was radiating down my legs last night and when I wipe after using the bathroom there is pink discharge which started yesterday. I also have what sort of feels like an ache in my abdomen.

Some extra info - I haven’t had a period since 27th October so I have no idea what/where my hormones are upto. Also have no idea what my lining is like given that I haven’t been having a normal cycle. This pregnancy no 2 so I don’t know how much of this is my body gearing up for something it is already familiar with.

Is this something or nothing? I’m worried it’s the start of something going wrong 😩

Any advice would be really appreciated.

xx

Have you has a scan yet? As u could be further along than 5 weeks? Also cramping I got really bad as I got further along due to uterus stretching. With bit of bleeding though phone go explain and see if they will refer u to local EPU

No scan yet. I assume around 5 weeks as I was tracking my ovulation and that would correlate with the positive OPK.

I’m not under midwife care yet, booking apt is next Wednesday so I assume until then they will just tell me to watch and wait 😐 x

It could be an implantation bleed? I had it both times around 6 weeks into both pregnancies. If you're worried though, I'd get it checked out at the hospital. Hoping it's nothing worrying.

Could be an implantation bleed but the radiating pain down legs happened to me when I miscarried. My natural miscarriage (I also had two missed miscarriages) did start with pink discharge, it was like pink mucus.

I’m just being honest, it may be good or bad news at this stage. 5 weeks is very early, most miscarriages happen before 6 weeks.

Oddly, I feel sort of heavy in my abdomen too. Pretty much like I’m about to come on. I don’t remember this with dd1 - I had some light pink mucus around 7 weeks but not pain.

nowaypose - sorry to hear of your miscarriages 😢 thank you for your honesty.

Hi everyone. I am due to be 6 weeks pregnant tomorrow, having had a missed miscarriage in September 2019, at around 11 weeks (baby had stopped growing at 9 weeks).

I woke up this morning to a light brown coloured discharge. The discharge appears to me mainly clear now. Stayed in bed all day but I’m beside myself with worry. I think I know deep down that the worst is happening.

Planning on seeing what tomorrow brings and then going to the doctor to see if I can be referred for a scan. I’m still traumatised by the experience last time I don’t want to be to-ing and fro-ing to the hospital this time.

I feel like I have been experiencing intermittent pelvic girdle pain for a few days - dull back ache, pain along pelvic bones / groins. It may just have been a sign of something going wrong I guess.

Any advice would be appreciated and good luck to all going through this - wishing you all the best and hoping everything will be okay!
