So I'm 19+2 and got my 20w scan on the 10th. Still not feeling any movement in there!!! This is my 3rd dc so I thought I'd be feeling something by now however I don't think I felt the other 2 until about 21weeks.i was really hoping I'd feel this one before the scan. It's making me nervous something is wrong. Has anyone else gone to their 20w scan before they felt movements?

You might find out at scan you have an anterior placenta I did with my 3rd and didn't feel him move til 23 weeks

I have an anterior placenta and didn't feel any movement until 23 weeks

Oh I just had similar. Turns out my placenta is at the front although it’s not blocking the entrance so I couldn’t feel very much and I’ve been so busy with DC1

Don't worry, perfectly normal not to be feeling your first just yet. I was about 23 weeks before a felt anything even though the sonographer couldn't get her to sit still! It'll come

Delbelleber · 09/01/2020 14:18

This is my 3rd baby lol I was at the mw yesterday and she could hear the kicks when checking the heartbeat but I couldn't feel them. Everything seems normal with the hb.
I am so super excited about my a scan tomorrow!!!

That's exciting news. Congratulations!

That's great news OP. I'm pregnant with number 4 and this time I also have an anterior placenta, which is weird because the movements feel different that with my others. But I'm learning the way he moves and I know that's his way of moving for now.

Delbelleber · 10/01/2020 18:37

Thank you Grin

How many weeks are you @R2D2abc

I'm 24+3.

Delbelleber · 10/01/2020 18:42

When did your movements become more noticeable? I hardly feel anything. Not like my other 2 babies at all

After 20 weeks I started to feel some movements that I could tell it's baby. They increased a bit with the weeks. I can definitely feel him kick my bladder, the upper part of my belly and on my left side sometimes. But the other parts I can't recall feeling much at all, must be there were my placenta is located. It is way different than my others for sure but I'm getting used to it.
Midwife said until 26 it's fine not to feel too much with anterior. I guess we'll have afterwards to trust our instincts of when maybe baby it's not moving much. Hope I won't visit triage too often but I will call if I'm in a doubt.
