Hey MN! Im 36+5 with first baby so please forgive me if I am being naive and silly! Wondering if I am in early labour due to constant period like pains all across lower abdomen and constant muscular pain across my lower back, sometimes radiates down the tops of my thighs. Not severe but still quite painful. Paracetamol taken regularly. Doesnt seem to have a particular pattern just constant tbh. Bowel motions and weeing frequently but no bloody show or water breakage. This has been going on for a few days. Baby is measuring hefty also but no major concerns at my last growth scan at start of week nor any mention of baby engagement. However, i have had that pelvic girdle pain thing and i just spoke to a triage midwife and my left a message with my community midwife as thats been bad for a couple of weeks (havent done anything about it as im scared of being told to get a grip and its expected as was already told this about my severe oedema) but has gotten significantly worse to the point i struggle to mobilise independently and it feels like my hips are slipping out of place and lots of pain involved in that. I have a tubi grip and support belt which is not the most helpful unfortunately. The triage midwife said might be too late for physio as baby could be here before i get an app and i should have been offerred some kind of physio thing at my original booking appointment as standard? Anyway what im basically asking if am i in early labour due to the period like pains etc or is it just my pelvic girdle pain? First child and i am bamboozled! Tia
