Negative turn positive?!

So I'm a week late for AF...

I've done a test before work which was negative but when I came home I rechecked it (left it out in bathroom) and it was positive.. it's a pink line and does not appear to be an evaporation line!

Anybody else had this? If so what was your outcome?

Never check after the allotted time, many a false positive have appeared this way! Test again with morning wee and discard test after specified time.

I think most tests are invalid after ten mins... maybe check with a new test in the morning!

This happened to me. When nothing came up after a couple of mins I put it in the bin (it was a boots brand early test with pink dye). The next day, for some reason, something made me look in the bin in the bathroom. A great big second line had appeared. I am (was) new to TTC so knew nothing about evaps etc and after a bit of googling I felt quite deflated. The next morning I did a cheap blue dye test and timed the response. A line came up within 5 mins so did a CB digital to confirm which gave me pregnant 1-2 weeks. I'm 17+3 today! So, in answer to you question, it could be a BFP!

The same think happened to me, nothing appeared until after the time limit and then I could see the faintest line. I kept testing and the line was getting stronger each day. I’m now 6+1

Although I should add that this was 8dpo and I think if you’re a week late for AF a line should definitely appear in the allotted time limit (sorry I just reread your post)

This happened to me with my first- I checked about an hour later and a line had appeared! She's currently in the living room watching tv!
