How soon after a miscarriage did you get a period?

I miscarried at 9 weeks a couple of weeks ago, I’ve only just stopped bleeding but was wondering how long it takes to get a period and to start ovulating again for those who have been in the same situation?

I miscarried 8 weeks ago and am now 8 weeks pregnant. I think it varies for everyone.

Sorry to hear that. I miscarried at 10 weeks, bled for a couple of weeks and got my period exactly 4 weeks after I started to miscarry. Although it took me another year to conceive again, I was much more aware of ovulating in the months post- miscarriage and felt more, erm, amorous shall we say, at a certain point of every month which I think was my body’s way of trying to conceive again!

I had a miscarriage 8 weeks ago today and I’m still waiting for my period. I had a negative pregnancy test 5 weeks ago so my hcg was low at that point but still no period.

I had a period 4 weeks after I finished bleeding

Thank you everyone. I guess it’s just a waiting game now and hopefully we’ll have some good news to start the year..
