Put a post up earlier about brown discharge which had been going on for a week. Had done a test over 10 days ago and done another one both said 2/3 weeks. It should say 3 weeks +.
Extremely worried now😢😢

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Most people say that they are notoriously unreliable, which is probably true. However, in October I fell pregnant and mine never went past 1-2, I went on to have a miscarriage at 5 weeks.

TwinkleStars15 I'm so sorry to hear. Hope you are well. I was thinking the same for myself. Spoke to epu and doctors previous to this and said nothing to worry about. So confused and stressed

My test never went over the 2-3 mark when i had my miscarriage. I took the tests over a 2 week period but they never changed. Hope it works out better for you!

I think they are unreliable mine was 1-2 then 4 days later 3+ I’m not sure they are 100%

Boymummy3 · 31/12/2019 20:41

I've heard of people never getting the 3+ and going on to have healthy pregnancy's so I wouldnt really read much into them tbh

stanski · 31/12/2019 20:51

I only had 3+ (didn't realise was pregnant until a friend told me she thought I was and as a joke I took the test to prove her wrong). Needless to say she was right and by the time a GP confirmed I was 7 weeks

Clear blue are rubbish. I did a clinical trial for them and they would send me tests to use. Constant evaps, so depressing when ttc! I wouldn't think the digis are any better

bub19 · 01/01/2020 07:03

Put a previous post up yesterday about the weeks indicator not changing to 3+. I had done the test in the afternoon and got 2/3 and obviously panicked. Done a test this morning and its 3+. Maybe I shouldn't do tests late in the day!! Maybe I should stay away from these tests altogether. Unecessary stress!!!!

Stop testing! My goodness, why do people waste so much money on tests?! You take a test (or two if you must) and then you carry on with life! I’ve never once doubted I wasn’t pregnant after taking one test that had two lines. I noted my dates & then onwards we went. Doing repeated tests isn’t going to change anything or help you. Pregnancy is a weird business up to 12 weeks, you just have to trust your body & live life as normal (or suffer through the shitty symptoms if you get them). There’s always the option of early scans both privately & via the NHS if concerned but tests are a waste of time. The level of HCG that can be detected in your urine fluctuates depending on how much water you’ve taken in. Only blood tests are a 100% reliable measure, hence why doctors use those & not dip sticks! Please save your money & try to be excited for your pregnancy! It’s best for you & baby
