Blighted ovum and now pregnant again

Hi everyone,

I had a blighted ovum around July time and I've found out I'm pregnant again. Around 6 weeks ish. I've got an early scan booked for Saturday but I'm so scared it's going to happen again. I can't get excited or relax about anything until I've had the scan.

Has anyone else had a blighted ovum then gone on to have a successful pregnancy a few months after?

Yes - almost exactly the same timings as you! Found out early July there was no baby and am now 6+5, went for an early scan on Saturday and saw a tiny prawn with a heartbeat the lady scanning me did say before the scan it was super early and not to panic if there was nothing there as it could have still been too early. Fingers and toes crossed for you lovely xx

I'm convinced my symptoms are disappearing like they did in July. I'm just over analysing everything I think but it's hard not to xx
