Am I having twins?

I am 6 weeks and pretty sure I have a noticeable bump. It feels different and doesnt really move when I 'suck in'. There are twins in my family

Could be but bloating in early pregnancy is common too.

Any nausea?

Bloating is really common esp very early on.. Only time will tell if you are having twins or not

As an extra note, I had a VERY positive test (just a cheapo hcg strip not an early one) 7 days before my period was due

Could be just bloating. Only a scan will tell. I looked like I was carrying twins but only had a singleton I was huge! 🙈

You might be, you might not be. I was tiny when I was pregnant with twins. Managed to keep the fact that I was even pregnant a secret from many friends and colleagues until I was 22 weeks. I looked and felt more pregnant when I was having just one.

For me, size wasn't a factor when I was pregnant with twins, the symptoms were. I got a bfp at 8dpo, bleeding gums when I brushed which dentist told me was from the large amount of hormones in my body, utter exhaustion and horrific morning sickness. All these symptoms are not only in twin pregnancies though. I was shocked at my 13 week scan.

I had twins and my pregnancy test was super faint! I also didn't show until nearly 18 weeks

Only way you’ll know is with a scan! I am expecting twins and my test wasn’t massively strong - I definitley wasn’t showing at 6 weeks either. Congrats on the pregnancy!

As others have said, only a scan will tell you.

When I had twins I never got a strong test, only ever weak lines. I didn't tell work until 20 weeks because I didn't need to. I had zero morning sickness. I carried to term and delivered two babies at just under and just over 6lb.

Thank you all for your comments! I have also had bleeding gums which is interesting. I've had very severe sickness and symptoms so far, very unlike my last pregnancy (miscarried at 7 weeks).
Have a doctor's appointment on the 7th so hopefully will get a scan soon!
