Do you think I'm pregnant?

So I took my last pill on the 24th of November, period came the 29th of November for a few days. Been having regular sex as we wanted to try for our 2nd. I estimated based on month previous that my period would be due the 27th of December. Since the 27th I've been cramping mostly all day but no period. I took a test today and I've attached it. There was 2 lines but one was faint. What do you think? With my previous child I tested the day after my expected period and got 2 clear lines..

@kcoupar When I found out I was pregnant, I had been cramping and feeling like I would come on my period any minute for like a week but no period turned up. I didn’t actually do a test until I was over a week late as it kept feeling like I was about to come on and we hadn’t been trying. So I’d say the cramps are normal, congratulations!

@Catlover10 that's what I've been concerned about as I've been cramping almost all day for 3 days which I've never had. So hearing that has made me a little less scared than what I was.. I'm going to test again on Friday.

Looks positive to me. I had loads of cramping at the start of my pregnancy to the point that I was convinced my period was coming. Lasted until about 7-8 weeks.

That's positive OP congratulations. I also had cramping with both pregnancies. I went swimming with my first at about 5 weeks and it was so bad I cried that I didn't want to get out of the pool because 'I knew' I would start bleeding (like a bath with a period) it never happened. Try to relax

I need to just try and relax. Having lost one I'm a worrier. But it just seems so common for people to have cramps. I'm going to take another test on Friday morning to get a stronger second line then I'll just try to get passed this first trimester lol

Absolutely a positive test, I cranked until week 10 with my DC and also bled some too but all turned out very well

Congratulations. Cramping is normal. I'm 7+2 with (hopefully) DC3, cramping only eased off about a week ago.

These messages are making me feel so better. I didnt realise so many people cramped.

It's definitely 100% positive. Cramps can be normal or can be a concern. It's just a waiting game I'm afraid.

I'm also in the same boat as you, did you do this test with first morning wee or randomly in the day? I was due my period on the Friday too and still haven't come on but did a test yesterday but had to drink loads of water to wee and it came back negative.
I've also been having cramping too but only mild, I'll be retesting Wednesday morning. Congrats though! x

I did the test in the afternoon...

People are saying to do it in the morning though. I dont normally have period cramp which is why this is out the norm.

Congratulations OP, what a treat for the New Year!

Just coming on to say that I also cramped in early pregnancy, and was another convinced that my period was coming... but it was in fact pregnancy related cramping! Oddly didn't have it with DC2 which made me worry. Can't win!

@MrsForsyth congratulations! My period came this morning unfortunately, hopefully I'll have better luck in the next few months x
