Maybe early pregnancy?

Hi all, I already have a nearly 3 year old and me and my partner have been trying to conceive this month.

I’m 3 days late for my period and yesterday at midday (drunk loads of water just to get enough pee to dip test in) and in came back negative. (Cheap test)

Last night when I wiped I got yellow mucus discharge, and the symptoms I’ve been getting are: no appetite, frequent urination and my boobs are swollen and a little sensitive and cramps every now and then.

I’ve ordered some clear blue tests to redo the test on the 1st of jan with first morning wee.

Anyone else had negatives before getting a positive result?

I got a negative on the day my period was late - was in the evening and I had drunk quiet a bit of water. Got a positive a week later when I tested again. I think you just have to wait. If you are late with your period, a cheap test should really work with first morning urine - if you've got some spare you could try tomorrow morning. Good luck!
