I’m looking for size 14 dark blue skinny maternity jeans. Seem to be looking a needle in a haystack, sold out EVERYWHERE! Are Seraphine worth the money? Any other suggestions?

Flabby and pear shaped-need more ‘leg support’ than leggings or jeggings 😂

I got some dark blue skinny ones from H&M on Boxing Day for about £12 on sale, I think originally £30ish. There was limited sizes though but maybe will have more stock come in soon if not in your size currently?

essexanon · 30/12/2019 09:32

Mothercare had some yesterday, down to £7.50 from £28 x

Caspianberg · 30/12/2019 09:58

I have two pairs from Seraphine, the low under bump ones. They have been well worth the money imo. They aren't too long, fit well before huge bump as not over bump, and have been worn virtually daily so far so have washed up well.

Beck2277 · 30/12/2019 10:18

Boohoo has loads and they're cheap, can easily send back if they dont fit but normally come next day x

Carbis · 30/12/2019 10:53

I am pear shaped too and after trying several brands and sending back, I went with Seraphine and am happy with them. I think they might actually be more flattering than my pre-pregnancy jeans. I’ve got the over the bump ones in black and navy. The navy ones did leak a bit of colour onto a white jumper before I washed them the first time but it came out in the wash.

New Look, cheap & cheerful though x

Ginandtonic31 · 30/12/2019 14:32

I needed a 34 leg and found New Look let you choose length online. I ordered the dark blue slim and shape skinny ones and just ordered a black pair for work. They're about £17 each. I found them true to my pre pregnancy size and they look nice. Can't go wrong for £17!

ShirleyPhallus · 30/12/2019 14:32

H&M ones are fantastic. Top shop Joni maternity are also good

ineedanotherholiday · 30/12/2019 15:42

I've got two pairs of newlook ones ad a pair of Dorothy Perkins. The Dorothy Perkins ones fit the legs much better.

PhilomenaChristmasPie · 30/12/2019 15:44

Last time I bought maternity jeans was 8 years ago! Sorry!

mumma2b2020 · 30/12/2019 21:12

I've found New Look ones to be the most comfortable - cheap as well :) x

Dorothy Perkins red herring maternity under bump jeans. Super comfy and under £20 a pair

20TinkerBell20 · 30/12/2019 21:35

Sorry Debenhams red herring *

Zooforhouse · 30/12/2019 21:56

+1 for Seraphine!

I love my jeans from there, they fit so nicely.

Caspianberg · 31/12/2019 08:03

On the seraphine ones again, The low type do seem like they will be handy the first few weeks after birth also as a soft waistband.

The seraphine dresses I tried on looked like bin bags though with weird zips and openings for breastfeeding which for me opened up on my shoulder, nowhere near boobs!

Walikingdeadfan · 31/12/2019 08:29

Have you tried ebay? This where I got mine fairly cheap. (was looking for petite and maternity so very limited selection in shops)

Zooforhouse · 31/12/2019 08:38

Caspianberg, I have a few of these dresses handed down by a friend! I spend a lot of time fiddling with necklaces, collars etc at work and I’m worried that one day I’ll absentmindedly expose myself 😂

Caspianberg · 31/12/2019 09:34

@Zooforhouse - Dh was like, why would you need to expose your shoulder and half your arm, but hide boob?!

DerbyshireGirly · 31/12/2019 09:41

I bought some Mamalicious jeans off ASOS which I'm living in now, the actual jeans are under bump but there's a big bump band attached which I can pull right up to my boobs. Very cosy.

I find that if I wear normal under bump jeans my belly like a to make an appearance out the bottom of my top. Given how hairy it's gotten through my pregnancy that makes me feel like an overweight plumber. Not my best look.

AriadneOliversApples · 31/12/2019 10:22

I got some lovely ones by an Irish company called Poco by Pippa; they deliver to the UK. What's also great is that they have belt hoops, so I wore them with a belt after DD was born and I was shrinking back down.

www.dorothyperkins.com/en/dpuk/product/clothing-203535/maternity-clothing-203572/maternity-indigo-ellis-skinny-jeans-9096021 I got loads of tops and leggings from Dorothy Perkins as all pretty cheap but decent enough to last through my pregnancy without falling apart! I found the sizing quite generous so you may want to size down ( though didn’t get any jeans from them so not sure what they’d be like)
