So.. before I fell pregnant I had been having some aches on my lower left side belly, wasn’t really sure what it was but left it as seemed to go away once I’d had a period.. it then came back about 1 week later ( this is before I conceived).. I am now about 5 1/2- 6weeks pregnant and for the last 2 weeks I have been having that pain on my left hand side I feel like it has eased off but When I lean over things ect it gives me sharp pains usually on the left .. occasionally on the right .. I was just driving home when I sneezed and the whole bottom of my belly (pelvic area) got a really sharp pain ( gone within seconds) I’m just abit concerned has anyone had this before? I’ve only had 1 previous pregnancy which was a miscarriage at 6w5days ( I was bleeding from about 4 weeks so I new something was wrong) but I didn’t find out until 9 weeks I never got any of this pain before? I had a d&c could it be something todo with this , I’m abit concerned about ectopic but I did have the same pain before I got pregnant.
Just concerned can anyone help?! Xxx

It sounds to me like a cyst on your ovary maybe that's grown a little ( its common) I've had these types of pains on/off for years due to pcos but... Please don't Just take my word for that as I could be Completly wrong. It maybe worth either a trip to see your gp or a call to your local Epu. They may not see you without a referral but worth a try.

I would have described the pain I had in weeks 5 to 7 exactly like this and it was three cysts. Nothing serious but be aware that a cyst can cause ovarian torsion so a sudden increase in pain should send you straight to a and e.

Thanks for your comments, do you think I’m best to call the doctors tomorrow and explain what’s going on, just nervous about the whole situation!x
