Hi, I was just wondering if anyone has any remedies or tips to help really bad Nausea?

I’m around 7 weeks into my first pregnancy and have had nausea since I found out at 4 weeks.

The last week or two it has gotten so much worse, I have only actually vomited twice, however I am struggling to eat as I’ve got 0 appetite and the sickness is so bad I’m struggling to get out of bed without feeling like I’m going to either be sick or collapse (probably because I’m struggling to eat anything Sad)

I know a lot of others have it way worse with HG and I honestly don’t know how they do it, I’m absolutely floored with just the nausea alone.

Please tell me this will stop soon 😂

It should start to ease up around week
11/12 although you may still have it after that but generally not as debilitating. I would go to the doctor and get some anti sickness meds, they’re safe during pregnancy Smile

My HG was diagnosed based on the nausea and inability to eat and drink so don't assume because you're not being sick all the time that you don't have HG.

Would recommend the docs and getting help asap. You don't need to suffer and it's not fair for you to.

How are you drinking?

I could have written this post! Go to your GP asap and ask for some anti sickness medication to help take the edge off. I'm 9 weeks with my second pregnancy and can only just start getting out of bed. I was so ill with my first up until 12 weeks so I knew what to expect this time. I'm weak, no energy, feel constantly sick and hungover. I lost a stone in 2 weeks. It's absolutely horrible and I completely get how you feel. Hope it passes for you soon xx

Jj that sounds really awful Flowers

Try to sip drinks of anything - squash, flat cola etc. Nibble biscuits. Anything you can manage to keep down and keep your blood sugar up. I managed white baguette at one stage.

It’s so awful but it should get better as you go on. I felt soo much better when the placenta was out!

I’m 7+3 and feeling the same way!! I’m finding ginger beer, and salty crisps or salty chips really helpful at the moment

I agree with PP, go to the doctors so they can prescribe another sickness tablets.

You must make sure you don't get dehydrated as that makes you feel even worse, are you able to suck ice cubes or have ice lollies as that will help.

It's such a horrible feeling.

Thank you everyone, I’ve booked an appointment at the GP today, hopefully they can give me some sort of anti sickness tablet to help me as I’ve had to call in sick today 😫
