So I'm 33+4 and today I've suddenly noticed a huge increase in how much I'm peeing! I've literally been to the loo about 6 times in the last 1.5/2 hours. Does this mean baby has moved or is dropping? I haven't particularly drank any more than I usually would today either.

I'm a first time mum so not too sure what to expect in terms of baby dropping. Does this happen gradually or is it a sudden movement and very noticeable? Sorry if I'm asking really basic questions but I feel at this stage I'm questioning everything!!!

It defiantly could mean that baby has dropped lower in to the pelvis ... I found at the end of my last pregnancy I struggled to hold my wee when usually I could and the baby was fully engaged Grin

I’m 35+3 and this week the amount of pressure I’m feeling is crazy! I wake up during the night several times needing a pee and it feels like something is about to burst down there! Hoping this means baby is engaging! (Baby is head down but not engaged that I know of yet)

I had that and still do at 36w.. And baby hasn't dropped yet.. Well hadn't last week. Its annoying I can stand up off the loo and feel I need to go again.

36 weeks here and absolutely the same. Up several times a night needing a wee (although when I do go it's hardly anything which is a pain) baby had moved down at my last mw app but babies can engage and unengage aswell so I wouldn't really read into that as such. X

Thanks for all of your replies! I'm up every night at least 2 or 3 times to go for a wee and have been this way for at least 4/5 weeks now! Baby has been head down since about 28 weeks according to my midwife.
Definitely feeling more pressure in my pelvis today so I have a feeling baby has moved somewhat although my bump itself doesn't look like it's noticeably dropped. He's a little fidgetbum though so I am sure I will know when it happens for real!
Best of luck to all of you with the rest of your pregnancies 😊
