Has anyone suffered severe migraines throughout pregnancy? I'm prone to migraines before falling pregnant with severe symptoms such as speech imparement and pins and needles to my face and limbs.
Lsst night I had one like this and was advised by the midwife to go to A&E, so I did and was transferred to another hospital to be seen by a stroke team! They wanted to scan my head and use contrast, I refused as they could not reassure me that no harm would come of my baby! Not only that by this point my symptoms had completely cleared. The stroke nurse did a full neurological assessment which she did not find any deficits so they let me go home. I'm worried I maybe should have just had the scan to put my mind at ease.
Has anyone been in a similar situation and what are your thoughts??
