Early pregnancy cramps

Hi. Has anyone had light cramps like period cramps early in pregnancy? I only have cramps the day my period starts and its 9 days late But been having cramps for a few days. Nerver been this late before. Feels like somethings going on in There I just don't know what!

I’m also having period like cramping - I’m 5w3d and my period was also supposed to be 9 days ago. I think it’s totally normal to have cramping early on as your uterus is growing so try not to worry

Yep got cramps from day 1 and still do, 13 weeks now. Totally normal as long as it's not intense and your not bleeding xx

Yes I did and was told it’s perfectly normal

I did! That's how I knew I was pregnant! I never have any kind of cramping before AF actually starts. Take a test?

Are any of u confirmed pregnant? How does ur cramps feels and where? I feel like when I'm about to come On My period but it's nowhere to be seen.

I’ve done about 20 tests (I’m a POAS addict [laugh] and they were all positive. I have an early scan booked for the 8th of Jan at 7 weeks and my first midwife appointment on the 15th.

My cramping can feel just like mild period pains, or a light stabbing pain. Have you had a positive test?

I done test but might have tested to early did one before missed period it was negative and did one a week ago but it was faulty (bought it abroad in a beach pharmacy I'm visiting family for Xmas) ordered a box of 20 from Amazon that will be there when I'm back in uk in the 30th so will do it then! Will also go to gp so i can find out what's going on if I'm not pg. hopefully not a cyst or something!

I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you, although be aware that going abroad can your period. I was really late once when I was abroad, thought I might have been pregnant, but then got my period when I got back to the uk. How long ago did you do the test that came back negative?

I took the test that was neg 10 days ago. I took another one ab 5 days ago that was invalid, the control line didn't develop and the test looked all "dried up". Wouldn't be that co curbed if my period was only a few days late but it's 10d now and I have the weird cramps coming and going. I'm not sure I suspect pregnancy 100 percent but I think something is up. Will be able to test tomorrow when I'm back. Never had my period change when traveling before and I traveled a lot. I'm in the same time zone if that's what u meant?

Yes, awful cramping, started a week or so before af was due. I'm currently 12 weeks pregnant and it started to ease a few weeks ago x

My cramping was only on one side and it was mild pain. Just go get a test if you've missed your period

I’m glad I read this thread as I’m 4+3 and all day for the last 3 days I have a stomach ache, not cramps as such but a dull ache, mainly on the right side. I was starting to get worried but have been reassured by seeing that this is quite normal for you all!

I've had cramps since about d3po almost the entire time and I'm now 4+4. Its not so often the last couple of days but its kept me awake over Christmas it was so strong. Pregnancy test remained nice and strong and still really nauseous, huge sore boobs and crying/grumpy/pathetic mood swings so I'm fairly sure theres still something going on in there!

Hi girls. I found out 5days before xmas were expecting baby number 3.. Im now 5wks 5days and iv been having strange twinges on the right side. Along with constipation a slight bit of not red more pink brown blood. Only once think it may have been due to straining. But now im full of worry as my last prg was eptopic.. And advice plz xx

Did anyone who found out they were pregnant have milky white and watery cm? I had it for some time
Now and I'm starting to get more and can't recall usually having this in my cycle.

Yea and if your pregnant get used to it because you'll lots of it xx

I had cramping early on, like 5-6 weeks pg. Am 24+3 now and still occasionally get the odd twinge.

Have personally never noticed a change in cm, have never been particularly 'wet' and not gotten much extra, possibly a little.

Just a little reassurance i had cramps right from the start and did have until 2 weeks ago, it feels like an intense period pain for a short while. Never had blood or anything. I have had a few scans privately and all is well. Im 14 weeks now and still have the odd twinge of a period pain. They put it down to the womb expanding.

I'm freaking out haha. I need to test ASAP as I feel something is going on for sure and I really have a feeling I am pregnant. I'm panicking now as I was not ttc. I'm traveling at the moment but hope to find somewhere to buy a test as I have a stop over night. I'm a bit confused until I have it confirmed for sure! Was not prepared for this but maybe it will be a nice surprise.

So I tested today 11 days late and bfn so doubt I'm pregnant. However I'm still cramping and my boobs are killing me today and I keep having a really bad headache. I will go to the doctors tomorrow to have myself checked out! It's weird because I really feel pregnant and it's not wishful thinking because it's not a convenient time for me. However I wouldn't be disappointed if I was either. I just hope I am healthy at this point!

I’m 15w & have had lots of cramping. Still having cramping now. I’ve been told it’s everything stretching & preparing. Not terribly painful but can catch you off guard.

Yes, I had cramps with my DS, starting a few days before my period was due. It was like the worst period pain I had ever experienced. The true cause finally dawned on me after about four days of this, and still no period.
