HELP! When can I start trying?

I have got a new job October 2019, to get full CMP I must have 52+ weeks of continuous service at the end of the 15th week before EWC. When am I able to start trying? I have just bought a house so getting the full CMP will be a massive help!

Thank you ❤️

Probably around May 2020, depending on when exactly in October you started your job. Add a year only the date you started your job, then count backwards 23 weeks, and that’s the earliest date you can start having unprotected sex. Obviously the chance that you conceive on the first cycle is fairly low, but you never know and it would be annoying to miss out on CMP by just a couple of weeks!

Onto not only!

Thank you so much for replying!! I started my new job on the 1st of October, yeah I totally agree it would be just my luck to miss out so I’d rather be careful than miss out! ❤️Xxx

Your job requirements to get it are worded exactly like mine! To get the enhanced option, we had to be employed a year by that time too and I started my job October 2018.
My last proper period after coming off the pill was in May so we started just after that had finished

How strange that is the exact same dates!! That’s amazing, I’m soooo much more excited now as I thought it would actually have to be October to start - thank you for replying! ❤️
