Hey all. I’m 9w but the tiredness I feel is overwhelming. I’m sleeping 10-11 hours at night, and 2-3 naps a day.
I’m off work for the holidays at the moment but I have stuff to do that I can’t get done because I just need to sleep.

Is there anything that I can do that’ll help this tiredness?
God know what I’m
Going to do when I go back to work the beginning of Jan.

Xx

Just sleep. It will pass soon.
At work you might need to nap in your lunch hour.

I was like this especially this time around. Baby number 4 here. I just think if you can afford to sleep, do it. Follow your body signals and rest if feel so.
There's a lot of changes happening in your body and by week 10 your HCG reaches the highest point, so you're overwhelmed with hormones by that time.

I'm 9 weeks too and managing 6 hours a night and absolutely no naps (due to a cranky toddler)! I can only dream of such a huge amount sleep!!

But yes - it is all totally normal and the extreme tiredness does pass after the first trimester ...

Just embrace it! I used to go to bed at 6pm some nights. Then trimester 2 finally came and I had loads of energy! Well compared to trimester 1 anyway 😃
You need to rest as your body is doing soooooo much hard work growing your little one
