sneezing and coughing hurts so bad.

hi, newbie mumsnetter here.
am 18 weeks preggers with 3rd child. having agonising pain low down on left side when i sneeze or cough, have to arrange my gigantic carcass into "brace position" when i feel one coming. it's horrible because i normally love sneezing. anyone else experience this and know what it is??

Hi jooseyfruit, yes I have experienced a pain on my left side low down too - it comes and goes and is not just when I sneeze though. Im meeting my midwife for the 1st time on thurs so going bring it up as it is worrying!!
Sorry no advice - just thought id let u know ur not the only one!!

i had it when i sneezed my dd used to roll over kick me etc midwife told me not to worry its just the stomache muscles squeezing baby so baby is leting you know not to do it

thanks, i think chatting to midwife is probably the way to go. not unduly concerned, it just knacks!
