Partners older brother really angry at our pregnancy

Over the Christmas period we started telling close family that my fiancé is 9 weeks pregnant. Everyone was excited and over the moon except her brother who is spewing at the fact we aren’t married or have a mortgage.
For us it was a planned pregnancy as we are more than happy and ready for a child. But he at 29 has taken a very angry and petty approach of being passive aggressive and ignoring us this Christmas and New Year period, which is hard on her family and ruining the good news.
I was just wondering on ways to deal with people who are not on board with a pregnancy and so against it?
Many thanks as I would like to be able to enjoy and celebrate New Years with her family

Well it’s none of his business and he sounds like a controlling fucking prick! Ignore him completely, you’re better off without him in your life.

I agree. Ignore.

Is there perhaps more to his reaction than meets the eye? Could he be envious about your good news. People react in strange ways!

Ignoring is the best way to deal with it.
Congratulations 🎊

I didn't know that having a mortgage was an essential part of pregnancy.
Congratulations to you both 🎉
