Late bfp

Has anyone got bfn after missed period and later got bfp? I'm 8 days late that never happened before. Tested at 5 days late but negative but feeling so strange and been having cramps for ab a week. I only get cramps in the day 1 of my period.

Yes! I had 14 BFN before my BFP! I was nearly 3 weeks late before I got my BFP. Firstly I got a positive blood test from the doctors (went to visit them as I was sure something was wrong because of the BFN) and then 4 days later I got the BFP! My advice is don’t use clear blue early on - I spent a fortune on them and they were all negative. I tried an Asda 2 for £3.50 the same day and got my BFP! X

Im also due my period tomorrow and have been having cramps like crazy today but all tests have been negative so far. Maybe you should go for a blood test?
I feel like I'm going crazy as I just feel so pregnant so I may just go get a blood test too. Hoping for a BFP for us both! X

Yes, I ovulated late so got a later bfp. Cycle length varies so if you have longer cycles, the bfp will be later

Thanks. I'm in a bit of limbo now. I'm 9 days late and been cramping for days with period like or dull pain very low down. Not in the middle high prt of tummy like when I'm stressed. It's more like period cramp but had it for many days. I would be 5w 2d today if pregnant. I ordered a pack of 20 cheap tests and 50 ov strips so I can keep testing when I get back from holiday and if not pregnant I can track my ovulation properly at least. Will also book gp so I can rule out anything serious. Surely feel pregnant but might be in my head. Reading threads online makes me think it's not impossible to test negative for a while.

Yes I recently ended up getting a BFP 7 days after my period was due and has been super faint it’s taken a week to basically look visible For me to
Believe I’m pregnant there is hope xx
