I am 20 weeks and I keep getting stomach pains, some really low in my stomach like period cramping, others quite high near my ribs. I am just beginning to recognise what are gas pains, as apparently I seem to have that issue a bit now.

I am still yet to feel baby move, so I think my mind is starting to panic about pains and lack of feeling movement. This is my first and I am aware that I may not feel it for a few more weeks. I just need someone to tell me that what I am experiencing is normal.

I have my 20 week scan in a couple of days, so hoping that will ease my mind.

You should really give a phone call to your local maternity unit and tell them exactly what you feel. It's better to do that and not wait until you have your scan.
It might be nothing to worry but better be on the safe side.

Phone the number in your blue book. I contacted my Mw at Christmas about cramping and she saw me today and put my mind at rest

What position is your placenta in? You may feel less movement if it is anterior, mostly concentrated to the sides.

I am 15 weeks and I've had pains throughout my whole pregnancy so far, each time I've had a scan everything has been fine 😊 I have my midwife a call a couple of days ago though as I had a new pain in my lower back and she thinks although early that I've got PGP (pelvic griddle pain) I think that's what it stands for. She didn't seem worried unless I was bleeding but did say if ever the pains become unbearable to go to A&E.

If these pains are new for you then definitely give your midwife a call, even if it's just to put your mind at rest. I believe that some people do feel these pains a lot more than others (me being one of them)
