Pains in early pregnancy

I've been having period like pains, particularly on my right side but no sign of AF. I did a pregnancy test just now which showed a positive. Online calculators work me out to be 4 weeks pregnant.

Is it normal to be experiencing these pains? I have a doctors appointment on Monday but just wondering if anyone could put my mind at rest.

They can be normal but not for everyone. If its particularly on one side you should get checked out incase of eptooic x

Thanks @Boymummy3 that's what i'm most concerned about! I have a habit of overthinking so will keep my eye out and mention to my doctor on Monday.
