Did anyone notice a different in their vision when pregnant. I suffer from really bad headaches but recently one of my eyes vision hads gotten alot worse.
Has anyone else had anything like this?
I will be making an appointment to get checked out. Thanks

You should definitely get it checked, it could be nothing but anything out of the norm should be checked.

How far along are u? If ur over 20 weeks u need to phone hospital as could be a sign of pre eclampsia

Get checked by hospital.

Anyways, I always in each of my pregnancies have my eyesight get a bit worse, at the point I change my prescription once. But after pregnancy goes back to normal in a few months.
I always mentioned it to my midwife and consultant anyways, just to be on the safe side.

Get it checked as can be pre eclampsia symptom. But it is also very normal, both my pregnancies i’ve had to limit contact wearing because my eyes get so dry and I couldn’t see well out of one. Consultant and opticians have both told me it’s very common to get blurred vision, worse eyesight, dry irritated eyes etc - hormones and fluid can actually change your eye shape temporarily while pregnant, so your lenses don’t work as well and you can’t see as well, this can also cause the headaches as well.

I've been told by my optician that pregnancy can make your eyesight worse. But it's gradual, you prob wouldn't notice all of a sudden. I'd get it checked out.

It’s not unheard of. That’s why eye care is covered under the NHS maternity exemption certificate. My prescription changed a little during each of my pregnancies.

The maternity exemption does NOT cover eye tests.
Sometimes a change in hormones can change prescription but it could change again after birth.
