Brown discharge 30 weeks

I had a speculum test last night to check for infection. Since this morning every time I wipe I get brown discharge. I rang my midwife who said it's normal after having a speculum test but it's now turning into a jelly like consistency that's worrying me as it's sounds like what your mucus plug looks like. Should I be worried?

It can regenerate so I wouldn't worry as such.. Is it not just discharge mixed with the bleeding? If worried contact triage thought or contact them anyway just to see what they say. They might want to check it out for you

@Boymummy3 I rang them this morning and they didn't seem concerned. I'm probably just over thinking it! It seems to be stopping now so hopefully there's no more 😣 thank you!

Had this too after a check in pregnancy some brown blood and some red - they said not to worry, just that they had irritated the cervix.
