33 weeks heavy pressure

I'm just wondering if I'm working myself into a tizz over nothing? I'm 33 weeks tomorrow and for the last couple of days, I've felt really heavy in my pelvic region - especially when I sit down to go for a wee. They've said it's likely to be a large baby but I just feel really uncomfortable all of a sudden. Is this normal at this stage or should I be worried about early labour? My firstborn was 5 weeks early but that was 12 years ago and I can't really remember the specifics ☹️

I've felt like this since 32 weeks now 35+5. Baby has probally moved down slightly and putting more pressure on you. For me it's totally normal (3rd baby) but if your worried give your midwife a ring.

I feel your pain! I’m 33 weeks too and for the last few weeks I’ve been having loads of uncomfortable bouts of really concentrated pressure in my pelvis. I’ve been getting pains at the top of my cervix and freaked out but I’ve not had anything new pop up since. No water leaking or back pain or bleeding so I’m guessing it’s just Baby getting into his birthing position a little more firmly than I’d like 😂

It's horrible eh? I just feel like I can't get comfortable - I sit up and feel like I need to lie back, then within minutes that's uncomfortable so all I do is fidgit!

Yeah, I think you're probably just gearing up for the last and most uncomfortable phase of pregnancy. Baby moves down, you can no longer walk properly and have to waddle everywhere like a duck... Oh, the joys.

Congratulations btw Smile
