Hey everyone ! This is my first baby and I'm just trying to weigh up what I'll look like on holiday in a bikini when I'm 12 weeks pregnant lol.
Do you have a tiny bump by then or still look normal ?
Trying to weigh up bikini options . I'm 9 weeks atm and I obvs don't look any diff yet☺️

I saw my bump appear at 10/11 weeks but I would say only I knew it was there if that makes sense xx

Keha · 26/12/2019 22:36

At 12 weeks friends said they couldnt tell, although I definitely could (and I wasn't wearing a bikini). It's going to depend a lot on your body shape, but it's always much more obvious to you than anyone else. Strangers started to notice about 18 weeks, unless I was wearing something quite baggy.

Catlover10 · 26/12/2019 22:39

I am 15 weeks and I definitely started noticing it last week. I look sooo bloated. Looks like I’ve eaten 37383 Christmas dinners in one go all the time 😂

R2D2abc · 26/12/2019 23:03

I would say there was a definite small bump by 20 weeks, prior to that not much, it could have looked like I've just eaten a bit more. I remember 12 weeks looked pretty normal with a tiny bit of something but not obvious( have to mention thou I lost a few kilos in the first months due to sickness and nausea).

BillieEilish · 26/12/2019 23:05

About 7 months. Before then you wouldn't have known.

Hollywhiskey · 26/12/2019 23:11

Just me that gained all the weight then. I was in maternity clothes by 14 weeks both times. I had bad sickness (the sort with the rehydration drip) and ate all the sugar and carbs to combat it. I also bloated up massively.

Boymummy3 · 26/12/2019 23:24

By 12 weeks you will probally have bloating My bump with 1st probally appeared around 20wk mark maybe a little before. Before then I could tell myself because of course you know your own body but the people who didn't know I was pregnant didn't notice till after 20wk x

CFlemingSmith · 26/12/2019 23:27

7-8 months. Never got out of ‘normal’ clothes

BillieEilish · 26/12/2019 23:29

I got slimmer as I stopped the booze! I was also so careful about what I ate and nutrition.

Amazing difference, wish I was like that now!

BillieEilish · 26/12/2019 23:29

Yes, I never bought a single maternity item either.

holly40 · 26/12/2019 23:32

About 15/16 weeks for me. Not that it was visible with clothes on, but in a bikini. Then by 20 weeks it was a noticeable baby bump.

I was slim though, size 8 and 23yo. Several years later with number2 I had a much bigger bump from earlier on. Due soon! I'm massive

Ninkanink · 26/12/2019 23:33

About six months.

Lazydaisydaydream · 26/12/2019 23:36

I'm a size 8 and had a noticeable bump from about 14/15 weeks. I'm also quite short so think there wasn't much space for it to go apart from out haha.

Later on in pregnancy I had polyhydramnios (excess fluid) so I'm not sure how much that affected the size of my bump at the beginning.

You might look a bit different at 12 weeks just because everything is moving around and stretching, rather than a specific bump if that makes sense.

notangelinajolie · 26/12/2019 23:38

The waist on my work skirts started to get a bit tight around 20 weeks. Bump wasn't really visible with my clothes on until later than that as I have big boobs and tend to wear loose floaty tops pregnant or not.

Oct18mummy · 26/12/2019 23:42

First pregnancy didn’t show properly till around 20 weeks. Second one around 14 weeks

Nelbert19 · 27/12/2019 09:03

I look like I’ve got a bump now and I’m only 9 weeks! I’m assuming it’s bloating, but it’s pretty firm and doesn’t change morning to evening 🤷🏻‍♀️
I’m size 12 and have had to resort to leggings already 😬

lilsquish · 27/12/2019 09:05

I'm a size 8 but wasnt obviously pregnant until around 24 weeks

second pregnancy was about 18 weeks

Congratulations

Whereland · 27/12/2019 09:08

I'm 5"7, size 12 and with my first baby I didn't have an obvious bump til around 16 weeks. Nothing visible at 12 weeks

lettersbyowl · 27/12/2019 09:08

Google 12 weeks bump and you will see that everyone is different... but wear your bikini with pride anyway!!!

starlightmagic · 27/12/2019 09:09

Still just look like I’ve put weight on at 25 weeks, normal clothes here!

Wanderer1 · 27/12/2019 09:16

I'm 12 weeks now and I've zero bump. I'm short and size 12/14. I get noticeably bloated by tea time but that's about it.

HL123 · 27/12/2019 10:14

I'm almost 16 weeks and have just ordered some maternity jeans because I can't deal with how tight my normal ones are now!
I have gained a stone so it's partially down to that, but there's definitely a small bump now.

JGreen134 · 27/12/2019 10:19

It totally depends on you and your body, every pregnancy is different. Not every women is simply just ‘bloated’ at 12 weeks! I’m 5 foot size 6-8, currently 13 + 5 weeks pregnant and have a very visible, round bump! Just wear whatever makes you feel good on the beach. You are growing a little human which is amazing so feel proud of your body regardless! Being accepting and happy of yourself as a women is always a beautiful look :)

jdy123 · 27/12/2019 12:40

Thanks everyone !
I'll probably just be looking like I've been enjoying the all inclusive but I'd have rather have a had a little bump Smile.
I was also hoping I'd at least have some boobs to fill my bikini but they've not grown yet either haha
Xx

I didn't look at all pregnant until the last 2 weeks and even then it was tiny, I never had to buy maternity clothes or anything.
Every baby is different x
