Hi all

My first pregnancy just ended in miscarriage at 7 weeks few days ago..
i am slowly feeling better and i would like to ttc again asap. I am 30 and i got pregnant 10 days after stopping the pill the first time which was early november.

So just looking for experiences? Tips ?
How long did you wait to resume intercourse?
How did you track ovulation after miscarriage bleeding ?
How long did it take?

Thank you Flowers

Hi. Firstly I am so sorry to hear about your miscarriage. Sending hugs.

I had a miscarriage in May, ovulated again straight after that bleeding and got pregnant that same month. So it is possible. It depends on you and when you want to go for it...
A lot of people hypothesise that you are more fertile at this time.....
Good luck x

Hi. I waited 3 weeks to have sex and started being regular again on cycle 4 which is when I fell pregnant with my DS. Sorry for your loss and good luck!

I had a MMC exactly 7 months ago, waited 3 weeks before TTC again and I'm approx 11 weeks pregnant now.

I'm sorry that you're going through this, it's really hard. All I can say is to remember to be kind to yourself xxx

Sorry for your loss. I had a miscarriage at 11 weeks in September 18, second cycle trying. Took another 7 cycles following Mc to get pregnant and currently 36 weeks. Hope everything goes well for you x

Thanks everyone for the replies and kind words! I hope to start when i stop bleeding and after the scan on 03/01 to get the good to go from doc

@Dramaqueen14 how did you get through the first trimester after your loss? I also had a miscarriage at 11 weeks in 2018 (and two at 5 weeks) and am currently 4 weeks, and a complete wreck!

Dramaqueen14 · 27/12/2019 18:16

@TwinkleStars15 the first trimester was really hard, I was very anxious and constantly checking for blood when I went to the toilet. What kept me going was thinking it was a different pregnancy. I’ve been anxious my entire pregnancy and still don’t believe I am having a baby very soon. Miscarriage is so hard and sorry to hear about your losses. Be kind to yourself. Anything you are feeling is very normal. X

Hi, I had a miscarriage in July at 3 months. Decided to wait til my first period to start trying again (which wasn't til September), ended up getting pregnant after my period in October - so two cycles.

I found it very hard to track my cycles as I had very irregular ones after my MC so I literally just had sex every other day so we were bound to catch at some point during ovulation.

I'm now almost 11 weeks, two scans with very strong heartbeats so it's looking good so far Smile

I'm 20 btw, so I suppose my age may help with fertility and getting pregnant quickly
